Montgomery Ward GEN-1476A Review

This is an older shortwave radio which may have been manufactured during the 1970s. In addition to shortwave, it also receives two police bands, AM, FM, CB, VHF aircraft, and the weather band. Shortwave is split into two parts, the Marine Band (1.6-4MHz) and 4-12MHz. There is a good telescoping antenna, but no external antenna jack. Bell/Howell World Band Radio Review

This is a very compact pocket shortwave radio which receives nine bands and has entirely analog tuning. The bands include seven shortwave bands, AM/MW and an extended FM band. The extended FM band also receives American television channels 2-6 (or the Japanese FM band if you travel to Japan), in addition to regular FM stations. This radio enables reception of ten shortwave bands as well as AM and FM. The FM band is longer than usual, so you can also receive the Japanese FM band (76-90MHz) if you travel to Japan, or the audio for part of the television band.
